Pacquiao to fight in Japan, Qatar after Mosley .

Pacquiao vs Mosley Tour :
Qatar and Japan have expressed their desire to host Manny’s fight after the Pacquiao vs Mosley bout. There is a big offer for Congressman Pacquiao if he brings his fight to Japan or the Middle East in the last quarter of this year.

Pacman has expressed his interest in bringing boxing to two of the big countries who love the sport so much according to Arum. There are hundreds of thousands of Filipinos in these nations and boxing has been one of the exciting games during weekends.

Hall of Fame Promoter Bob Arum, the proprietor of Top Rank Promotions and the promoter of Pacquiao believes that there is a big possibility to bring Manny’s next fight to Japan or Qatar later this year.

Manny Pacquiao vs Shane Mosley is scheduled to happen this May 7, 2011 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. If Pacman wins, there won't be no rematch against Sugar Shane in the US.

Pacquiao has been fighting a lot in the United States. This will be the rare times at the prime of his career to bring his act to the “Land of the Rising Sun” or to the country of “Oil and Gas”.

If Manny wins in the Pacquiao vs Mosley encounter this May, Arum will schedule the next fight of Pacquiao in November. November is the perfect time when many people will watch boxing. Pay per view buys and gate receipts interestingly seem to come up impressively during this time of the year.

Tokyo, Japan and Doha, Qatar have sent out feelers about hosting Pacquiao’s next fight, according to Bob Arum. “The guys in the Middle East who are hosting the (2022) World Cup want Manny to fight there, while Tokyo also wants it,” said Arum, adding the Japanese have mentioned the Tokyo Dome as venue.

The Dome in Tokyo can accommodate as much as 55,000. This is much lower than Pacquiao’s previous venue at Dallas Cowboys in Arlington, Texas, where he won against Antonio Margarito in the lopsided battle.

The Tokyo Dome hosted a couple of Mike Tyson fights. In March 1988, Tyson stopped Tony Tubbs in his debut but was KOed by James ‘Buster’ Douglas in the 10th round in February 1990 on what has been tagged as the biggest upset in the history of boxing.

After Pacquiao’s birthday, he brought his entire family to Japan for relaxation and unwinding from the sport and his congress duty. This added to the Japanese’s interest on Pacquiao.

Pacquiao who is now 32 years old and has been fighting since 1995 as a professional has also fought in Asian countries such as Thailand, twice, and Japan.

After the Manny Pacquiao vs Shane Mosley fight, Pacman will still have 5 more fights. He doesn’t even have plans of hanging up his gloves until 2013.
