Personally, I am excited on this fight. The fight between Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley is probably the most anticipated next year. The fight will happen on May 7.
Being a boxing fan. I’m a bit wary on the kind of boxers Manny Pacquiao face. Let’s face it. Margarito’s prime has already passed, as proven on his last match with Pacquiao. Oscar dela Joya’s prime has already passed as Manny Pacquiao obliterated him on that fight. Whether Manny Pacquiao has already surpassed these boxing legends or these boxers have already passed their prime is a question for me.
Manny Pacquiao never fought someone that have the same status as him. Probably fight every fighter whose career is going downhill. The only intriguing fighter to fight next is Floyd Mayweather, but that may rest until Mayweather got the balls to fight Pacquiao. I think the next best fighter to fight is either Cotto or Mosley.
I admire Mosley because he is a true fighter. Manny Pacquiao today is the epitome of a real fighter. Hard in the ring, soft out of the ring. That is why many people love Pacquiao. He gives people hope with his fists and he gives smiles to people with wacky english interviews.
We can’t deny that Filipinos are naturally happy people. And you can see it with pacquiao. He smile all the time!
Going back to Manny Pacquiao vs Shane Mosley fight I’m not sure if we can watch it online for free. But I’m sure that you can pay to watch it live. We all know here in the Philippines, broadcast stations have a lot of commercials. Making the 1 minute break each round becomes 10 minute advertising fest. We don’t like it.
