Roach said that he will allow Pacquiao to be a little loose on the training until they can go back for training in Hollywood because of Pacquiao’s duty as a congressman.
Roach would like Pacquiao to train for a total of eight weeks, four weeks in the Philippines and the final four weeks under his utmost care at the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood.
Roach had earlier proposed that Pacquiao can lessen the number of weeks of training from eight to six only if he goes straight to Los Angeles six weeks before the fight
But it seems that Pacquiao would like to have his usual eight-week program so he can also perform some of his duties as Saragani congressman.
But it seems he is still his usual self and doesn’t care much if its a less time for his countrymen. After all, we all want to see Pacquiao in the ring and not in the congress.
Roach has a lot of “sparring” surprises for Pacquiao. He already planned for Pacquiao to spar with some great boxers, one from his sparring session in 2009 and 2 other guys from the west coast.
